Program: 

Guest pianist Stephen Buck and flutist Amy Porter joins the Ensemble to give rustic dances a fresh makeover in Libby Larsen’s “Barn Dances” for flute, clarinet and piano.  The Ensemble will also present Weber’s Quintet for Clarinet and Strings in B-flat and Mozart’s Quartet No. 1 for Flute and Strings.  In sharp contrast will be Arnold Schoenberg’s Chamber Symphony No 1 in E major, written before his 12-tone period and arranged by Anton Webern for violin, cello, flute, clarinet and piano.
