Pamela Richman, soprano, is originally from Chicago. She received her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and her Bachelor of Music from Chicago Musical College, a division of the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. She has lived in Edmond, Oklahoma, since 1988. She sings opera, oratorio and chamber music and is a specialist in the performance of contemporary music. She has premiered numerous compositions, many written especially for her. She also participates in musical theater productions throughout the Oklahoma City metro area.

Ms. Richman has been a member of the music faculty at the University of Central Oklahoma since 2000 where, over the years, she has taught Applied Voice, Class Voice, Aural Skills, Basic Music Skills, and Music Appreciation. Most recently she created a course for incoming freshmen music majors entitled Success in Music. In addition to her duties at UCO, Ms. Richman has directed the youth choir for the Inter-Congregational Sunday School of Emanuel Synagogue and Temple B'nai Israel and was a cantorial soloist for both congregations. An avid supporter of the arts, she has been very active in the Oklahoma City arts community, particularly the Oklahoma Arts Festival, and for many years served as Chair of the Edmond Arts & Humanities Council.
